Bio
Teresa Yu Bi is a Research Assistant at The Alan Turing Institute. She has been involved in Project Bluebird which will deliver the artificial intelligence system for air traffic control (ATC). She is currently focusing on machine learning ATC via deep reinforcement learning (DRL). She completed her PhD in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Bristol, UK. During her PhD, she mathematically modelled the resource allocation problem on virtualized edge-cloud networks and designed meta-heuristic algorithms, DRL algorithms, and multi-agent DRL algorithms for both simulation and real testbed experiments for service function chains placement and scheduling. Her expertise and research interests are in the field of optimization, game theory, machine learning and the practical application of developed algorithms.
