Bio

Sydney is the Programme Manager for the AI for Multiple Long-Term Conditions Research Support Facility (AIM RSF). The RSF is based at the Turing in conjunction with Swansea University and University of Edinburgh, and offers AI and advanced data science support to the research teams funded by AIM and foster collaboration. The RSF embeds best practices in data security and standards, reproducibility, and public and patient engagement across the AIM research collaborations, ensuring effective knowledge sharing and reinforcing the Turing’s role as a national convenor and capacity builder in data science and artificial intelligence. 

Sydney joined the Turing in September 2023 having previously worked in medical research charities. Her roles focussed on delivering research funding calls and programme management of portfolios including support for PhD students & early career researchers as well as immunology & infectious disease research.
