Bio
Emma is the Institute Manager for the Digital Environment Research Institute (DERI) at Queen Mary University London. DERI is an interdisciplinary institute focused on digital, data science, and AI research, with the aim of bringing together researchers from across all disciplines to support growth in AI and digital technologies. Prior to joining Queen Mary, Emma was based at UCL where she initially oversaw the EPSRC doctoral Training provision for UCL before moving onto manage the interdisciplinary London Centre for Nanotechnology (LCN), and undertake a secondment to the Medical School as their Divisional Manager.
