Network analysis is an emerging frontier of interdisciplinary research in statistics, applied mathematics, social sciences, computer science and related areas, especially driven by the ubiquity of online social networks and the availability of Big Data. As a fundamental tool to understand complex connected systems, network analysis aims to model how networks form, evolve, and influence all aspects of related variables.
The purpose of this interest group is to act as a focal point to gather researchers interested in the area of network analysis to exchange ideas, discuss research progress and forge interdisciplinary collaboration.
