During this session introduced a discussion around improving accessibility through translations, adequate technical supports and other methods. One of the big pillars of PPIE is including a diverse group of people to improve why and how research is being done. But to really deliver on this vision, PPIE needs to be organised in a way that is inclusive and accessible to a wide range of participants.
Georgia Aitkenhead, Bastian Greshake Tzovaras and Batool Almarzouq presented some of the design considerations for technical improvements to accessibility alongside with social accessibility improvements to kick-start the discussion on the topic.
