Introduction
The Skills team at the Turing actively engage a wide range of stakeholders, including government bodies, industry leaders, academic institutions, and the third sector to create an environment that nurtures the development of cutting-edge skills and fosters a culture of innovation.
Collaborate with us
Propose and run a data challenge through the Data Study Groups (DSG): These hackathon-style events bring together a team of doctoral students, early career researchers and post-docs from across a broad range of disciplines to help tackle your data challenge.
Host a PhD student for 3-6 months as an intern through the Turing Internship Network (TIN): The network attracts high-quality interns to work on your data-driven business challenges. You provide the role descriptions and interview the shortlisted candidates, and the Turing manages recruitment and all other processes. To express your interest in becoming a TIN partner, please fill in this form.
Co-design learning interventions for your target audiences: The Turing works with university and industry partners to develop free, open-source learning materials. These can include self-paced courses for the Online Learning Platform, live workshops or other opportunities where we have shared interests and priorities. If you have an opportunity to discuss, please fill in our enquiry form.
Engage with the Turing Connections Initiative: Centres for Doctoral Training (CDT) and Doctoral Training Partnerships (DTP) are encouraged to join the UK-wide network of centres connected with data science and AI. Centre leadership can engage with the Turing to co-design and co-develop activities for national doctoral students and receive information on PhD opportunities. Get in touch via [email protected].
