The Alan Turing Institute’s Defence and Security programme is inviting proposals to bridge the gap between classical (generative adversarial networks (GANs) and quantum generative adversarial networks (QGANs) to synthesise realistic data (images for the purposes of this work) through the generation of high dimensional data. Furthermore, the work will investigate if we can experimentally achieve the learning and generation of real-world images on near term quantum devices. This will be early the TRL scale, so there is likely to be a lot of uncertainty and/or the potential to be iterative. It’s also an area where knowledge is still growing, so we welcome innovative proposals on this theme.
Applications must be submitted via the online Flexigrant portal. If you have not already done so, all applicants must first register on the system and provide basic details to create a profile.
