The Alan Turing Institute offers many benefits to employees, including private medical insurance and 10% pension contribution

Annual leave

The Turing offers employees 30 days’ holiday per annum, in addition to bank holidays.

​Pension scheme and life insurance

The Institute has a generous pension scheme, contributing up to 10% of an employee’s salary to the scheme to match employee contributions of 3% or more. 

People taking part in the scheme are also enrolled in the Group Life Scheme, which provides life insurance paying out up to four times the employee salary.

Health benefits

An optional benefit is private medical insurance (PMI), which includes dental and optical cover. In addition, all employees are entitled to eye care vouchers for eyesight tests, and spectacle vouchers.

Employees can also access our Employee Assistance Programme Carefirst which provides a 24-hour telephone helpline and face-to-face counselling, among other services.

Travel and retail benefits

Employees have access to our benefits platform Turing Benefits, which provides discounts on travel bookings, high street vouchers, gift cards, cinema tickets, days out, leisure activities and everyday spending.

Season ticket loan

An annual season ticket loan up to £10,000 is available for all permanent employees.
